Humble Beginning in Affiliate Marketing
When I started out in internet marketing, most marketing was done through the old bulletin boards. Marketers were just figuring out that the internet could be used to sell products and services.
What changes we have come through… My online life changed dramatically when I bought an eBook on internet marketing from the late Cory Rudl. Through that book, Cory preached that the easiest way to get started was to become an affiliate of his and sell his eBook online…
As part of his course, he gave me a free web sales page and all I needed to do was find a host for it. So, I got a free Lycos hosting and put it up for all to discover… yeah, right.
I didn’t sell many of them, but it gave me my first glimpse of affiliate marketing and started me off to where I am today… Later, I took some more of Cory’s advice and wrote an eBook on one of my hobbies and made my first official website…
Through that website I did affiliate marketing for Amazon selling books on the topic through banner ads and text link ads. Pretty primitive but I made quite a bit of commissions at the time.

Needs Good Training
I wish I had access to some of the training and courses that the beginning affiliate marketer has access to today… Like most marketers, I’ve bought up and devoured many of these products over the years and have learned a lot of affiliate marketing systems that other marketers have developed.
Unfortunately, a lot of these products were rip-offs and scams. The real good products that teach lasting methods are few and far between. Most give you methods to get rich quick and when the search engines figure them out, well, there goes your hard work and income.
It’s hard to learn affiliate marketing if you’re doing it hit and miss and getting poor advice from the so called gurus. I started to compile a list of the courses I’ve take that I thought gave the best affiliate marketing systems and advice and then it dawned on me…
“I wonder if these are the same ones that helped other marketers get off the ground?” So I decided to ask… I sent out emails to a dozen marketers that I know asking them which courses provided them with the best and most helpful knowledge on affiliate marketing.

Michael not only provides lessons through 40 videos broken down into eight modules but as you go through the modules, he builds a complete affiliate marketing campaign in real time to show you exactly what you have to do. All of this giving you the feeling that someone is holding your hand and walking you through the process so you can’t go wrong.
As I went through the course, I kept thinking to myself… “Why couldn’t there have been a course like this when I first started out?”
Michael shows you how to choose the right niches, pick the perfect affiliate product for the niche, how to set up your affiliate website (even provides your templates), how to set up an autoresponder and build a list so you can upsell, he includes a module on content and copywriting, shows you how to drive free traffic to your website, teaches you how to track your sales, and then finishes by getting you to ramp and scale up your efforts for maximum profit…
But this isn’t all you get… Michael promises you two bonuses, but when you get access to the course, you find out there are many more… It’s like having multiple affiliate marketing courses all rolled into one…. And he adds an additional video that’s a killer for getting traffic to your website…

This is one of the most complete affiliate marketing courses that I have ever seen. Michael leaves no stone unturned and is detailed in every aspect of the subject leaving you with everything that you need to know Unlike so many marketing courses that are more of an outline of what to do, Michael walks you through, step-by-step… including the techie stuff like setting up your website and writing the content.
This is a great affiliate marketing course for the beginner, but I have to tell you that I even learned some unique techniques that I’ve now put in my marketing toolbox. I believe that this course is a must have if you’re just starting out in affiliate marketing…
